New Delhi: In a major boost to India’s indigenous defence manufacturing, DCX Systems has secured a significant order worth ₹563.45 crore for advanced Maritime Patrol Radar (MPR) systems. The contract, awarded by a domestic client, marks one of the company’s largest recent deals and reinforces its growing role in the country’s defence electronics ecosystem.
Strengthening Maritime Surveillance
The contract involves the production and supply of high-performance airborne radar systems designed to enhance maritime domain awareness. These MPR systems are critical for surveillance operations, including vessel detection, coastal monitoring, anti-piracy missions, and safeguarding India’s exclusive economic zone.

Expanding Order Book

Earlier in March 2026, the company also secured contracts worth over ₹80 crore, including a ₹68.05 crore order from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for custom antennas and power supply units.

To meet increasing demand, DCX Systems is ramping up its production infrastructure. Its subsidiary, Raneal Advanced Systems, is expanding capabilities in oversized printed circuit board (PCB) assembly—an essential component for radar and avionics systems.
These upgrades are expected to enhance production efficiency and ensure timely delivery of high-precision equipment.
Aligning with Self-Reliance Goals
The company’s growth aligns closely with the government’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, which emphasizes domestic manufacturing in strategic sectors like defence. By supplying critical components for airborne radar systems, DCX Systems is helping reduce dependence on imports and strengthen India’s technological capabilities.
